Getting Started
The Connect API is a programming interface that allows you to access data directly from Cint's Connect product. The primary use is to extract data about ongoing campaigns and profiling data from the exposed audience.
The Connect API records Impressions and Matches. A user can be matched either by tracking cookie or by MAID (IDFA , AAID, etc.). When a user's interaction Event (view or Click) is matched to one of Cint's Panelists, their profiling Dimensions become available in accordance to their sharing preferences and GDPR regulations.
This guide provides basic documentation for using and working with the API.
Requirements
Before you start accessing the Connect API you need to:
- Be a customer of Cint with a Connect account
- Have received an API key and an
AccountId
which is provided to you by your account manager at Cint.
Once the requirements above have been satisfied you can start using the sandbox testing environment for your development needs.
All references to Connect API endpoints in this documentation refer to our sandbox testing environment.
